This World AIDS Day, you can organize a school, University, College assembly featuring preventive education talk shows, drama, skits, concert and so many other ou can find more useful ideas on the internet.

Organise an Event

As a school, University, College during the World AIDS Day 1st December 2009, you can also get involved by holding an event or fundraising for Africa Youth Ministries HIV/AIDS Comprehensive projects in Uganda. On this day, to raise HIV awareness & fundraising you can participate by selling our Handcrafted beaded Red Ribbons, sale our hand crafts including beads, necklaces, bangles, wall hangings, Sandals, Christmas Greeting Cards, African Dresses & Shirts, you can collect pennies, selling recycled materials e.g. bottles, cans, old cell phones, computers etc, you can sale cookies, sale your unwanted clothes shoes, beddings, hold a concert, or you can collect and sale balls etc there’s tremendous fundraising ideas. School Outreach HIV Prevention

Between 21st November to 15th December 2009 as we commemorate the 21st World AIDS Day Event, Africa Youth Ministries in Partnership with Living Hope Health Centre & Ministry of Health plans to reach 100 Schools to provide Free HIV Voluntary Counseling & Testing & to increase the awareness campaign among the most vulnerable and high risk group of young people aged 14-20 years. Without your help, and your donation we cannot realize this goal. You can make a donation of US$ 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, this money can be raised as a school and made as a donation by your school. Join Our Global School Partnership Program

(Students of Point Grey Secondary School Vancouver Canada participate in building a house for Orphaned Children in Uganda 2008) The Global Schools Partnership Program is an initiative of Africa Youth Ministries designed to create greater awareness and understanding of International , Social, Health, Environmental, Humanitarian, and development issues between young people in Uganda and the rest of the world. The Program targets both Primary & Secondary school going students regardless of race, religion, and gender.

Currently the project is working with various schools in Canada, USA, UK, Australia etc. Projects implemented include development and support of sports programs in Ugandan participating schools, international exchange programs involving Students, Teachers and parents of Point Grey Secondary School Students in 2008. The students collected sports equipments that were donated to schools during their visit in Uganda, they as well raised funds to buy sports equipments in Uganda. The team on their Ugandan tour built a house for 7 Orphaned Children and their 103 years grand mother. The team also collected and donated tremendous amount of scholastic materials to students from poor families in Uganda mostly, Orphans.

Partnering While in Your Home Country

Students of Chinguacousy Secondary School in Brampton Toronto loading sports equipments for Uganda) Students of Toronto University Schools together with students of Chinguacousy Secondary School in Brampton Toronto conducted a fundraising drive to collect sports equipments to support the sports for social change program implemented by Africa Youth Ministries in Uganda, using sport as a medium of communication to address social, health, development and economic issues affecting young people in Uganda. In a similar way, Africa Youth Ministries has partnered with various schools from Australia, US, Canada, UK, Ukrain, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China in our Christmas Cards Exchange program, for details
