TAILORING LIVELIHOOD SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
Africa Youth Ministries is implementing a livelihood skills development to underprivileged young people in urban slums, communities, rural communities, and this includes street children, refugees, orphans, school dropouts, single mothers, young people from poor families etc.
POVERTY ERADICATION
The Tailoring Livelihood Skills Development & Training program, is one of theskills development program targeting underprivileged & poverty stricken young women, this includes, school drops, orphans, single mothers, young women living with AIDS, etc. In sub-saharan Africa, the major leading cause of HIV/AIDS among women and girls, is poverty. By the end of their tailoring course, these young girls are equiped with survival skills to start their own businesses in tailoring, which helps them earn a living to become self sustaining.
SUPPORTING THE TAILORING TRAINING PROGRAM:
This project is currently sustained through well wishers, and through financial resources mobilised through our income generation activities, such as carpentry, art & crafts, Confectionery & Bakery etc. Your financial Donation of US$ 5, 10, 20, 30, 50, 100 OR more, will help us train more girls, equiping them with survival livelihood skills.

CURRENT PROJECT NEEDS
The most urgent needs to sustain this program, include salaries for the trainers, welfare for the trainers, Training Facility Rent (US$ 430) Per Months, training materials, we need more sewing machines 10 pieces. Each Sewing Machine Electrical is at US$ 230.
